So we decided to have sushi for dinner!!( to be honest, ni 1st time Fariez buat sushi) Tkay, my housemate yang willingly nak ajar. Actually it's that easy nor too hard to make a sushi. The key is just to be gentle but firm :)
for the filling, we used everything that we have in your refrigerator. Ada cucumber, carrots, fried egg, sosej, crab stick, some tuna & mayonis. Actually, mase Tkay cakap, we need mayonis, fariez was like.. er?? Mayonis ?? and she said, baru la sedap ade mayonis..lalalala.
Sushi rice tak perlu susah-susah nak cari, because Beras Egypt ni mmg sticky. Senang kerja :). And As for ika, who asked mana dapat sushi punya vinegar. Tkay ajar, guna one cup white vinegar campur one table spoon sugar and one teaspoon salt.
Spread the rice on the sushi seaweed sheet (Nori) evenly. Put the filling as u like.
The sushi is to be rolled gently but firm using the bambo roller.
Tadaa~ Comel kan kan.Ni Fariez yang buat. Fariez suka colour dia. and the sushi look like a healthy food :) Rumah kitorang takde shape knife tau, so macam susah gila nk potong sushi ni. Pas ni nak prepare pisau yang tajam-tajam special to cut the sushi.
Ni turn kak Fatin pulak. Kak Fatin buat sushi tuna loaded with mayonis! Tkay and Kak fatin prefer sushi tuna, but Fariez love crab dgn cucumber banyak. <3

After making those sushi ni, Fariez rasa macam.. oh ni la one of kelebihan belajar di luar negara. we tend to be more independent.We cook our own meals . okie, dont get me wrong. Fariez tak ckp, students kat Malaysia tak independent cumanya in case of cooking la.. bila belajar kat luar Malaysia ni, Malaysian food for example are hard to find, so we have huge urge to learn and try to masak sendiri.
Sushi pun mana nak cari kan. kalau ada pun mahal kot. Malaysia? Semua ada! fairly cheap and affordable. Pape pun, bersyukur je la kan. :)
